Morris & Co. was founded by eminent poet, environmentalist, socialist and designer, William Morris, in 1861. Since then, it has been a leading light of the Arts & Crafts movement and a bastion of quality production.  

The famous Strawberry Thief pattern was designed in 1883 and inspired by William’s Morris life in the countryside. As he watched thrushes stealing fruit from his strawberry patch near the back courtyard of his garden at Kelmscott Manor in the UK. Today, the Strawberry Thief motif is still one of the all-time favorite William Morris designs. 

Made using the finest materials and with the utmost regard for our heritage patterns, the collaboration reflects the value of craftspersonship and beauty first espoused by Morris.  

This collaboration pays homage to William Morris's guiding principle: "I do not want art for a few any more than education for a few." The unique Strawberry Thief watches, now available in soft pastel shades, are perfect for the spring-summer season. The watches beautifully showcase shades of indigo, pink, and red pastel tones, exuding an entirely elegant look that complements any personal style. 

As a continuation, the collection features highly precise Japanese Quartz movements, meticulously assembled during the watchmaking process to ensure utmost accuracy. The movement is protected by an anti-reflective, single-domed sapphire crystal glass. Rose gold embraces not only the high-quality stainless steel outer casing but also the hands of the watch, adding a refined touch. The three new timepieces are adorned with printed dials, featuring the delicate Strawberry Thief motif.  

The collection is delivered in a signature August Berg x Morris & Co sustainable and reusable bamboo box - FSC certification (Forest Stewardship Council).
