Warranty Policy

New Policy applied since Jan 1st, 2025​

August Berg announces the updated warranty policy, effective from January 1, 2025, reinforcing our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. This revised policy is designed to provide clearer and fairer solutions to customer concerns, ensuring better protection for your purchases and enhancing your experience with our brand. We believe these changes will strengthen your trust and encourage all customers to review the new terms as part of our ongoing efforts to improve our service.

WARRANTY FOR MANUFACTURER / MECHANICAL DEFECTS

  • Warranty Period:
    • 15 days from the date of receipt for defects caused by the manufacturer under normal use.
    • 24 months from the date of purchase for defects in the movement and internal components of the watch, determined to be a manufacturer’s fault.
  • Customers must provide clear photos/videos of the defect and send the product to the August Berg office for inspection.
  • Warranty Resolution: Free repair or replacement of internal components, or replacement with a new watch of equal or lesser value.
  • Free shipping for replacement orders due to manufacturer defects. If the product is found to be defective due to improper use by the customer, the warranty will not be accepted. The customer will be responsible for both shipping costs and any repair fees, if applicable.
  • Without prior approval from August Berg Customer Service, any claims made outside of the approved warranty period will be returned without a refund or exchange.

WARRANTY EXCLUSION

  • No warranty for external components such as the watch strap, case, glass, or clasp
  • No warranty for damages caused by misuse, negligence, modifications, or impacts.
  • No warranty for water damage on non-water-resistant watches or improper use of water-resistant watches.
  • No warranty for indirect consequences of improper use, such as wearing the watch in a sauna, hot showers, or exposing it to chemicals, acids, or highly corrosive cleaning agents.
  • No warranty for natural wear and aging (e.g., scratched glass, changes in color and/or material of non-metal straps and bands like leather, plastic, fabric, or adhesives, or peeling of coatings).
  • No warranty will be provided for watches that have been repaired by unauthorized service centers or locations not officially authorized by August Berg.

EXCHANGE POLICY

  • Products can be exchanged within 48 hours from the date of receipt.
  • Customers must provide clear photos/videos before sending the product to the August Berg Service Center for inspection.
  • Exchange conditions:
    • Only one exchange is allowed. All exchanges must be equal or greater in value to the returned merchandise. If the value of the item(s) that you wish to exchange exceeds the value of your returned item(s), you will be charged the difference.
    • The watch must be intact, unused, and still have the protective film on it.
    • No scratches, the leather strap must not be worn, and there must be no signs of creases on the strap.
    • All components, parts, accessories, user manuals, technical documents, and gifts (if any) must be intact and show no signs of use.
    • The product box and packaging must remain intact, without dents, tears, or discoloration.
    • Not applicable to items purchased during promotions with discounts exceeding 20%.
    • Engraved watches are excluded from exchange or replacements.
  • Customers are responsible for both shipping costs to August Berg office.
  • We will gladly offer an exchange if the product has significant defects upon unboxing (e.g., damaged product, missing parts, etc.) or if you received the wrong product. Please record a video of the product during unboxing, as claims will not be accepted without the video. Contact Customer Service within 48 hours from the date of receipt, and based on our decision, we will promptly send you a replacement after you return the defective or incorrect product.
  • Without prior approval from August Berg Customer Service, any exchange or return requests made beyond the allowed timeframe, will be returned without exchange.

NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS

We provide you with detailed descriptions of our products, materials, sizes, and fit, which can hopefully help you choose the right product more accurately. If you have any doubt about a product, you are very welcome to contact us at contact@augustberg.com for further assistance.

BATTERY WARRANTY

  • Warranty Period: 1 year coverage from the date of puchase
  • Vietnam: Free battery replacement at Vietnam retailers
  • International: Support maximum $30 USD battery replacement fee at local watch repair store.
  • Warranty conditions: Free warranty applies to one replacement

SHIPPING POLICY

1. SHIPPING COST

  • Vietnam: Free shipping for orders over 1,500,000 vnd.
  • International: Free shipping for orders over $250 USD.

2. DELIVERY TIME:

  • Vietnam: 2-3 working days.
  • International: 4-6 working days.
  • Engraved Orders: Additional 1-3 working days.
