The August Berg brand will not emerge without the Founder and CEO, Anders Peter Juel Sauerberg.

In 2004, Anders Peter started the Norbreeze Group to introduce minimalistic yet functional Scandinavian timepieces to Asia. ​The success of Norbreeze Group imparted more experiences and a deeper understanding of the industry and the region which combined with his knowledge of the European heritage resulted in the creation of August Berg. The August Berg timepieces are designed to inspire and remind wearers to make conscious choices with their time.

The birth of August Berg has something to do with fatherhood. Inspired by his son, Carl August, Anders Peter believes that time is the best gift you can give yourself and the people around you and aims to inspire others to reconnect with what matters to you. The Designer - Magnus Joergensen

The man behind the designs of the August Berg watches is none other than the renowned designer Magnus Joergensen.

Magnus is an educated Instrument Maker and Industrial Designer backed with a career spanning over 25 years and is well recognized for this clean and minimalist aesthetic. He specializes in functional and aesthetic Danish design and has collaborated with several prominent international brands. Magnus's portfolio includes Creative Director for Rosendahl Design Group on Holmegaard, Arne Jacobsen, and Kay Bojesen brands.

When talking about his latest collaboration, Magnus says "I am excited to have been given the opportunity to create a new design classic for August Berg and not least to share it with the world. August Berg's story and brand ethos resonate positively with me. It sends the timely and important message of making conscious choices with our time, for ourselves and the world around us.” ​

The Most Celebrated Designer – William Morris

The man who designed the prints of some of August Berg’s best-selling timepieces – William Morris.

William Morris is the most celebrated British designer of the 19th century and is a key figure in the Arts & Crafts Movement. A father of two daughters, Morris produced over 50 wallpaper designs that remained popular even up to the present times, including the famous Strawberry Thief, Pimpernel, Willow Bough, Love Is Enough, and Forest Hare.
