4. Steel Link - Made of high quality, surgical-grade stainless steel (316L) are an excellent choice for watch bands due to their durability, corrosion resistance, and hypoallergenic properties. Surgical-grade stainless steel (316L) is a high-quality material that is commonly used in medical and surgical applications, which means it is safe for prolonged contact with human skin.

Our Italian leather straps are treated using the highest-quality tanning methods. Variations and imperfections are characters of genuine leather products, which may darken, fade or change in colour and texture over time. 

In order to preserve your leather, we recommend treating your strap with a leather protector before wear to provide resistance against dirt and moisture. 

Remember to keep your leather strap away from heat, water, humidity, makeup and perfume to prevent any damage or marking.

To adjust the time on your watch, simply follow these 3 steps.

1. Pull the crown out until your hear a click.
2. Turn the crown to set the time as desired.
3. Push the crown all the way in and you are done!

1. Use the strap tool to lift the clasp
2. Slide the clasp to adjust the length of the strap
3. Push back down to secure the glass

August Berg uses the best plating methods available, but it is the nature of plating to wear over time, especially when it comes into contact with body creams and perfumes. To keep your watch looking pristine, we always recommend removing your watch when it may come into contact with water, perfumes and body creams.   

Please note: Rose-gold plating is, by nature, less durable and will fade quicker over time.

WARRANTY FOR MANUFACTURER / MECHANICAL DEFECTS

• Warranty Period:15 days from the date of receipt for defects caused by the manufacturer under normal use.24 months from the date of purchase for defects in the movement and internal components of the watch, determined to be a manufacturer’s fault.
• Customers must provide clear photos/videos of the defect and send the product to the August Berg office for inspection.
• Warranty Resolution: Free repair or replacement of internal components, or replacement with a new watch of equal or lesser value.
• Free shipping for replacement orders due to manufacturer defects. If the product is found to be defective due to improper use by the customer, the warranty will not be accepted. The customer will be responsible for both shipping costs and any repair fees, if applicable.
• Without prior approval from August Berg Customer Service, any claims made outside of the approved warranty period will be returned without a refund or exchange.

WARRANTY EXCLUSION

• No warranty for external components such as the watch strap, case, glass, or clasp
• No warranty for damages caused by misuse, negligence, modifications, or impacts.
• No warranty for water damage on non-water-resistant watches or improper use of water-resistant watches.
• No warranty for indirect consequences of improper use, such as wearing the watch in a sauna, hot showers, or exposing it to chemicals, acids, or highly corrosive cleaning agents.
• No warranty for natural wear and aging (e.g., scratched glass, changes in color and/or material of non-metal straps and bands like leather, plastic, fabric, or adhesives, or peeling of coatings).
• No warranty will be provided for watches that have been repaired by unauthorized service centers or locations not officially authorized by August Berg.

EXCHANGE POLICY

Products can be exchanged within 48 hours from the date of receipt.

Customers must provide clear photos/videos before sending the product to the August Berg Service Center for inspection.

Exchange conditions:

• Only one exchange is allowed. All exchanges must be equal or greater in value to the returned merchandise. If the value of the item(s) that you wish to exchange exceeds the value of your returned item(s), you will be charged the difference.
• The watch must be intact, unused, and still have the protective film on it.
• No scratches, the leather strap must not be worn, and there must be no signs of creases on the strap.
• All components, parts, accessories, user manuals, technical documents, and gifts (if any) must be intact and show no signs of use.
• The product box and packaging must remain intact, without dents, tears, or discoloration.
• Not applicable to items purchased during promotions with discounts exceeding 20%.
• Engraved watches are excluded from exchange or replacements.

Customers are responsible for both shipping costs to August Berg office.

We will gladly offer an exchange if the product has significant defects upon unboxing (e.g., damaged product, missing parts, etc.) or if you received the wrong product. Please record a video of the product during unboxing, as claims will not be accepted without the video. Contact Customer Service within 48 hours from the date of receipt, and based on our decision, we will promptly send you a replacement after you return the defective or incorrect product.

Without prior approval from August Berg Customer Service, any exchange or return requests made beyond the allowed timeframe, will be returned without exchange.
