The most delightful season of new beginnings has arrived where the fresh buds bloom, furry little friends return and the earth seems to come alive again. Open your windows to catch the invigorating spring breeze and let the sunshine vitamins into your house. It’s no surprise that the lovely sunny weather is a natural mood booster as we take our exercise routine outdoors and bask in the beauty of nature among the dancing butterflies. Apart from excitement and happiness, spending more time outdoors can broaden our perspectives, leaving us more open to new information and creative thoughts! To welcome Spring’s arrival with a fresh mind and overflowing positivity, we have put together a list of 3 simple changes you can make to usher the season of flowers and sunshine!
Switch to natural textiles
Plant-based, organic fabrics such as cotton, linen, flax, jute, and wool are a discreet way to carry nature wherever you go. Try switching your outfits and home linens to natural fibers and watch how it offers a sense of timeless beauty and breathability! Imagine laying down a jute rug or donning on some loose-fitting and elegant wardrobe pieces made with linen. The rustic charm of natural fabrics will definitely elevate your style while keeping sustainability in mind.
Diffuse essential oils
Bring the flowers into your homes with aromatherapy! Do not underestimate the power of a tiny bottle of essential oil. A fresh and lovely scent in your homes or offices offers a subtle but powerful impact on your body, mind and spirit. They provide immunity support, skin support, sleep support, hormone balance, and emotional support. My favourite spring blend is to include equal drops of peppermint, lemon, grapefruit, gardenia, and tea tree! Try it out yourself and watch how it instantly lifts your mood as your room slowly turns into an oasis. If you do not have a diffuser, you can make one by filling a spray bottle with your favourite uplifting oil and spritz it around your home.
Bring on the flora and fauna
Nothing represents springtime better than the lush greenery and chirping melody of the colourful birds. We have compiled a list of August Berg’s most inspiring accessories to go into your shopping list, keeping you focused on how to update your wardrobes for the brightest season of the year. For the ultimate spring look, pair your outfits with our range of nature-inspired timepieces from the Morris & Co. collaboration. Each of these timepieces features timeless vintage prints and textures created more than a century ago by renowned designers and co-founder of the arts and craft movement, William Morris.
Featuring intricately detailed foliages and the Love Is Enough Print that is an homage to William Morris’ life works. The title phrase is from the play of the same name printed in the Morris typeface from the Kelmscott Press. This beautiful piece of art is strapped on August Berg signature dark green perlon that is meticulously crafted using high-quality nylon, intricately woven to increase functionality and style, making this piece a perfect partner to your everyday outfits.
The Strawberry Thief is one of William Morris's most popular repeating designs for textiles. The pattern is a remembrance of the thrushes William Morris found stealing fruit from his own kitchen garden. In the sweetest pink, this piece is guaranteed to brighten up your day!
The Forest Hare Print is a tribute to the friendship between Philip Webb and William Morris. It was their love for animals that led to many partnerships and the founding of Morris & Co. Hop away with this whimsical and lively art piece for the ultimate springtime fun out in the sun.

Giving back to communities
An entire generation has seen its education interrupted for a year and we are grateful to see the students in Kenya back where they belong with much drive and energy to continue their learning. To these students, returning to school means returning to a safe environment where they can get a good meal and a space where they can engage with their passions and learn. Although the pandemic hit all of us hard, learning has not been halted at Human Practice schools. In fact, the average English learning achievement has increased by three times as much for grade 10-12 compared to public schools in Taplejung, owing to the distance learning initiatives such as radio classes were put in place, helping to achieve the high results that we see.
Human Practice Foundation brings quality education to communities and helps empower local people to find a path out of poverty and enjoy sustainable livelihoods.
In collaboration with Human Practice Foundation, August Berg will build a school – Akadeli Primary School in Mount Kenya by laying its foundation with engraved bricks featuring the names of everyone who came together and helped us achieve our milestone of 20,000 watches sold! Join us in our mission!
With every watch sold, we help gift a child with 6 month of quality education in Asia & Africa. And, with every 20,000 watches sold, we will build a school with Human Practice Foundation. But why education?
Just received today- gorgeous sapphire blue face and leather strap - 32mm. Better than picture. I chose this watch because of the quality of August Berg and the fact they give back to others.
Just received the petite Strawberry Thief watch from August Berg. I love the design--William Morris is a favorite designer of mine--and the watch is very attractive! The watchband is short however and I wish it were an inch or so longer. I would recommend the watch if you're on the fence, but you might consider one of the larger bands they provide if you have medium/larger wrists.
I received my August Berg x Morris & Co Petite Willow Bough watch today. It is even more stunning than on the website!
I wanted a versatile watch I could wear both to work and in the evening; and I prefer my jewellery to be on the smaller/more delicate side.
The mesh band is beautiful and comfortable on the wrist; and the 3 closure clasp means I feel very confident it won’t fall off!
The Morris & Co design on the watch face is both beautiful & subtle; with the crystals adding just the right hint of sparkle.
The watch arrived in perfect condition & beautifully boxed.
The fact that every watch purchase contributes to children’s education in Asia & Africa makes the watch not only a beautiful investment, but money well spent.
Just recived mine as a NY present from my husband. It's so nice watch! I think I will ask another one for my BD in April
:). It was easy to order it and delivery to Canada was no problem and on time
